I understand from Tom Hollander's Blog that Microsoft's Pattern & Practices team have just released Enterprise Library 3.0. To quote Microsoft:-
The patterns & practices Enterprise Library is a library of application blocks designed to assist developers with common enterprise development challenges. Application blocks are a type of guidance, provided as source code that can be used "as is," extended, or modified by developers to use on enterprise development projects.
The previous two libraries have been great resources for the .NET developer community. I understand that this new library has no breaking changes, which is great news.
I haven't had time recently to follow the Community Technology Preview (CTP) releases while this version of the library has been in development, but I am definitely looking forward to reviewing its new application blocks.
